Becoming a mother is a continual journey through self development, and each stage presents an opportunity to either level up or stay in my own way. Children have a special way of shining a light on those areas that could use some more improvement.
At the time of this recording, Milo two and a half. And age two is a tender time in early childhood development. It’s a time when limits are tested and boundaries are explored. The main two phrases that leave his lips are “No! No! No! and “I don’t want to!” It’s not easy for him, and it sure hasn’t been easy for my husband and I as parents.
In fact, in today’s solo show, I’m opening up about how mothering a two-and-a-half-year-old has revealed a blind spot in how I tend to show up in the world.
