Marilyn became a mother at the age of sixteen and found herself having to navigate this life-changing transformation without much support from her community. After initially getting kicked out of her mother’s place, she lived with her older sister and was inspired by the way her sister chose to parent with more love and awareness. So, fueled by the birth of her own son, Marilyn set out to do things differently than the way she was raised. She put on her warrior’s armor as she faced homelessness, criticism and growing up alongside her son. You won’t want to miss this powerful story of bravery and resilience.
